Junior Golf Camps:

Register your kids for Wooden Sticks Junior Golf Camps a three hour golf session for juniors to develop their golfing skills. Wooden Sticks Junior Golf Camp program will also focus on skills like Driving, Chipping, and Putting. All skill types are welcome including Rookie, Intermediate, and Advanced. Rookie Golf Camp for Kids (Introduction to Golf):

Designed specifically for kids who are new to the game of golf or received any golf instruction.  Equipment will be provided if required. This program will emphasize fun and safety, while teaching the basic fundamentals and etiquette of the game.

Objective: To have junior golfers feel comfortable with going to the driving range or putting green for practice and to a junior friendly golf facility with adult supervision.

Experience: No prior golf experience required

Ages: 5- 10 yrs old

  • 4 – 8 Students maximum
  • Camp ending “Drive, Chip and Putt” competition (parents are encouraged to come and watch)

Pricing: 5 Day Camp $260.00 + HST, (4 Day Camps July 2 & August 6 – $220.00 + HST)

  • 3 hour session 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Intermediate Golf Camp for Kids:

Designed specifically for kids who have completed Rookie Camp, or have previously received instruction or have experience at the driving range.  Equipment will be provided if required. This program will be more instructional in nature, with an emphasis on etiquette and decorum and working on practice routines.

Experience: Participated in a previous Golf Camp /Clinic or received any prior instruction or referred by a Wooden Sticks instructor.

Ages: 6 – 13 yrs old

Objective: To have the students feel comfortable enough with the game and expectations to be able to go on a junior friendly golf course.

  • 4 – 8 Students maximum
  • Camp ending “Drive, Chip and Putt” competition (parents are encouraged to come and watch)

Pricing: 5 Day Camp $260.00 + HST (4 Day Camps July 2 & August 6 $220.00 + HST)

Advanced Golf Camp for Kids:

Designed specifically for kids who have completed Golf Camp, are comfortable with the rules and etiquette of the game of golf and have a passion to improve their game.  The focus of this program is on more individualized instruction addressing course management, drills and personalized practice routines to develop skills.

Objective: Our goal is to provide each student with the tools to be able to work on their golf game on their own.

Experience: Participated in a previous Golf Camp / received any prior instruction or referred by a Wooden Sticks instructor.

Ages: 8 – 14 yrs old

  • 6 Students maximum
  • Camp ending “Drive, Chip and Putt” competition (parents are encouraged to come and watch)

Pricing: 5 Day Camp $300.00 + HST

2020 Dates & Time:

  • 3 hour session 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Additional Golf Camp Information:

  • FOOTWEAR: Golf shoes are not required.  Sneakers, tennis shoes etc. are ideal.  If a camper does have golf shoes they must be soft spike only.
  • DRESS CODE: Golfers should dress casually and comfortably and according to the weather.
    Bring a hat, sunscreen and insect repellent.
  • REFRESHMENTS: Please bring plenty of water and an allergy friendly snack.
  • GLOVES: Golfers will be hitting lots of practice balls.  It is recommended that golfers wear a golf glove. Batting gloves are also a good substitute.
  • SAFETY: Each camp session begins with a short classroom session on safety.
