My passion is golf! I enjoy helping my students improve their games almost as much as I enjoy playing golf myself. Whether it is introducing a beginner to the thrill of a purely-struck shot, watching active players progress and improve their games, or helping a competitive player prepare for their next competition, the most important role that I have as your coach is to clearly lay out the steps that are required to take your game to the next level. Golf is not a one dimensional sport. Every golfer’s physical make-up is different and as a result, so is their golf swing. By ensuring that you fully understand how your golf swing works, your path to a more successful game becomes much clearer.
For anyone who loves golf, there’s nothing that compares with playing side by side with a professional. And when that professional has years of experience on the LPGA tour and is a fully certified instructor to boot – well, it is simply the ultimate golf experience.
That professional is Karin Mundinger, now a teaching professional at Wooden Sticks, one of Canada’s finest golf courses. Karin brings to her teaching years of invaluable experience of playing alongside some of the best players in the world. Imagine what you can learn about the game of golf when you’re hanging out and playing with people like Nancy Lopez or Tom Kite. Karin also was taught by PGA Teaching legend Chuck Cook. Time you spend on the course with Karin is invaluable. You get to hear Karin’s perspective on things like course management, reading greens, chipping from tough lies, and other insights you can’t get in a lesson at a range. You get help with your swing and fundamentals when it really counts – on the course. How many times have you heard someone say: “I hit it great at the range but as soon as I get on the course it falls apart.”For a swing to work it should fit the temperament of the player. By getting to know you on the course and see you as you play under real conditions, Karin can really make a difference in your game. And to top it all off Karin’s humour and cheerful attitude plus her easy-going approach will make it not only a tremendous learning experience but a darn good time as well.
