On Course Server

Position: On Course Server

This role is responsible for serving the guests that come directly to your designated on course station or beverage cart.  You will be responsible for your start of shift and end of shift inventory and sales. You will be required to work outdoors in varied weather conditions – heat, cold, rain.


  • Greet all guests promptly in a professional and friendly manner
  • Stocks beverage cart/station with food and beverage items daily
  • Operates the beverage cart throughout the golf course when assigned
  • Sells food items and beverages to golf players while on the course
  • Accurately punch in orders through the Point of Sale (POS) system
  • Cleans carts at the end of their shift and put away any remaining stock
  • Follow cash handling policies to account for all revenue received
  • Assisting servers in running food order for customers
  • Follow health and safety policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor


  • 1 – 2 years of experience in serving environment
  • Smart Serve Certified
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts (early morning, afternoon, evenings) including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of Beer and Spirits
  • General knowledge of basic food preparation (sandwiches, hot dogs etc.)
  • Effective communication skills: speaking, listening and responding
  • Ability to work as part of a team and interact with customers with a positive attitude
  • Good Physical Strength – Ability to stand/walk/bend/push/pull for extended periods of time, lift up 30 – 50 lbs
  • Ability to follow and take direction from Supervisors/Managers
  • Knowledge of golf an asset, but not required.
